Orlando Wedding Photographer: Amanda McMahon- Rafaela and Kendall-Married!

Rafaela and Kendall are one of thee most outwardly in love couples I have ever met. Seriously.  I won’t write much on their blog, because you will see and feel it through their photos.  I can tell you though that per Brazilian tradition (Rafaela is Brazilian) it is traditional not to kiss until you’re married.  To some of us, this may seem out of the ordinary, but I find it very endearing and sweet.  So the kiss you are seeing below at the ceremony, was their first kiss!  I cannot tell you how honored I was to not only be able to capture their first kiss as man and wife….but their first kiss altogether.  I am pretty sure not many of us can say we have a photo of us and our significant others kissing for the very first time.  What an amazing memory to keep forever in a picture form! Rafaela’s parents came here to Florida from Brazil to be here for her big day and man, do I wish I knew how to speak Portuguese!

In all seriousness though, I truly love the love you two share and show each other.  You are both amazing, wonderful, caring people and you know that I adore you both.  I can’t wait to photograph you both again for your Trash the Dress in the summer!  God Bless you both, always and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the honor of being there for your wedding!

Venue: Winter Park Farmers Market (reception)

Mead Gardens (ceremony)

Caterer: Puff n Stuff Catering

Videographer: One I productions

Second shooter: Jus Cowland

Rafaela opted for boots instead of the typical peep toe heels. And her dress was amazing!

Doesn’t she just look stunning?!

You should have heard the crowd hoot and holler after this!

Dancing away as the new Mr. and Mrs.

Silly Ladies :)

My favorite from the day I think….

or this one…not sure :)

Rafaela’s Mom, Rejane, hand made all of these favors.  They are similar to a coffee cake, but they are Brazilian! I just love how they are wrapped!

They had a sweets table with several different kinds of sweet treats…these were very good!

The father/daughter dance started out slow on the left….then broke into fun on the right…

ooo more fun!

and back to slow…and sweet.

Bridal party dance….they did the dance from the movie Slumdog Millionaire

What a great night!!! Congrats and blessings!  Can’t wait to see you again!

Orlando Wedding Photographer: Kate and Daryl- the full post

Kate and Daryl have been together 9 years!  They got engaged a few years ago, but with Kate being a student, they took that as an opportunity to hold off for a bit. Finally though, Sept. 13th 2009 they were married at the Winter Park Farmers Market building.  Technically though, they had been married for 3 days at that time as they went on 9-9-09 to get hitched for real!  I love the details that Kate put into this, from the favors to the centerpieces….she made everything herself and I LOVE DIY brides because of the visions they have and how they make them come to life. Her theme went so well with the Farmers Market Building….I loved it! Daryl’s aunt also made the cake and it was stunning.

Kate and Daryl- Congrats on finally getting married!!!  I love how laid back and beautiful everything was…and Kate you did an amazing job! It was truly a family affair and I am honored to have been a part of it, thank you!!! I wish you so many more years of happiness guys….keep on rockin’!

The sky was awesome!

K&D-106I just like how serious their faces are with the impending cloud doom behind them!

K&D-100This is my favorite…did you notice the newspaper is upside down?!

They played a game with their shoes. He held one of his and he held one of hers. The DJ asked a question like “Who takes the trash out?” and they would hold up the shoe matching the corresponding person….so she held his up and he didnt hold anything up, meaning he was the one who usually takes the trash out.  Funny because, she was the answer to most of the questions!
