Receptions are the quietest time of the wedding for me. I can sit back and watch (and photograph) everything as it happens, pure moments of joy, of tears (happy only!), and just pure elation. The father-daughter dance, the first dance, the cake cutting, the guests letting loose on the floor….it’s all just time I get to soak up the happiness of the day.
