Well, I am not quite a quarter of a century….next year. Tomorrow, October 27th, I turn 24 years old. To some of you, that may be a shocker because sometimes people think I act older….but as fas as I know, I still also look as if I am 12. That’s ok…I have accepted that being 4’11 3/4 isn’t going to always help you in that case lol.
But as I look back on my 24 years of a wonderful and happy life…I find that I am really lucky.
I had had some wonderful memories, some wonderful friends, and the best family! Some friends have come and gone, and some friends have remained…like my best friend Jes. She and I have been best friends since 1st grade! She’s in NY and I miss her like crazy, but am so proud of how far we have come and that when I go home to NY, everything still feels normal…..
Some new friends have entered the picture, like Emily and Kristen and all my other wonderful photographer and non photographer friends. I have enjoyed being a part of your lives, you have taught me so much and I am so glad to be your friends.
I have had some amazing clients, and more to come….thank you for being so great to work with. I am excited for what’s to come!
My family- you have always been there for me, supported me, and given my the encouragement I need to do what I am meant to do (Photography!) and when I am down, you give me reasons to get back up.
Brendan- Thebesthusbandintheword! All one world, because he is THAT awesome! He works full time, goes to the gym, comes home and watches his 2 hour class (he is finishing his last year of his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering too!) and he still manages to just watch t.v with me when I can, or bear with me when I am working and he wants to do something else….he makes me smile when I am sad, makes me laugh when I am stressed, and knows just the right time to give me a big ole’ hug. Thank you for these last 8 years. We have officially been a part of each other’s lives for a 1/3 of our own!
These last 24 years haven’t been the best years of my life. I am convinced those are still to come….and I hope you all reading, will be a continued part of those years! Thank you so much for everything and I cannot wait for the next 24! It’s going to be so awesome…I can see it now!
And just for fun….here are some photos here and there of the last 24 years!
Me as a babe….I must have been excited
Holy hair…right?! yikes
Now, let’s jump and skip the awkward years…you all saw that photo a few posts back lol
I got married at 21…we had been together for 5 years, and are approaching 3 years married December 29th of this year.
I graduated from College in December 2007!
me and my best friend Jes in NY
Me and Lori Barbely…another orlando photographer and friend
I photographed my first Destination wedding in May with another photographer and tried Beneits!
While that was a huge jump around my life…there has been tons of laughs, and other photos I just cant share here or else the post would be 50,000 pages long…and I will spare you.
Those are just some highlights of the amazing years I have had. I have been able to travel to Hawaii, Italy, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Honduras, Belize, and Mexico. I went to California for the first time, Colorado, and Louisiana….I photographed weddings in NY and Lousiana in the last year….and I know there is soooo much more to go.
I also, am a cancer survivor of 2 years…..crazy things happen but none will be forgotten….I am so happy where I am at and I thank you all for helping me get there!
24 years down….90 more to go! 😉 I could only hope
Love you all! Thank you!
